TITLE: Helping Men Move Toward Collaborative Relationships

Dr. Matt Brown, LMFT, Relate Therapy Houston

Friday, December 9, 2022 9:00AM, via ZOOM

This workshop will explore the shifting landscape of masculinity as it pertains to collaborative relationships. Men find themselves in a unique place in time with few role models in previous generations and increasing calls for more engagement in relationships. We will discuss these challenges, seek to increase our understanding and empathy, and learn tools for working with men to increase their ability to engage and more fully experience collaborative relationships.

Three Objectives of the presentation:

Objective 1: Participants will gain understanding of current challenges for men

seeking to be collaborative partners.

Objective 2: Participants will learn to better identify and call out barriers that hold couples and men back from forming collaborative partnerships.

Objective 3: Participants will learn to engage with men around these challenges utilizing the tools presented.
