The Mind/Body/Spirit Connection: How it benefits and how to apply it in Psychotherapy and Sex Therapy

Stephanie Falcón Banasau, M.S., LMFT, LPC, CST

Have you ever been part of a conversation about the belief that we are made up of Mind, Body and Spirit? How does/doesn’t this belief influence or promote healing? Have you ever worked with clients who just seem stuck and continue a pattern of unproductive behaviors? Let’s talk about sex too! How can we help couples who no longer connect sexually or a person who seems to have a mind/body disconnect?

Stephanie is ready to talk with you about all these topics, plus give you an opportunity to experience some of the activities she teaches her couples.

Participants will:

  • Become more familiar with tools utilized to conduct a Sex Therapy session
  • Learn ways to help a couple who feel “disconnected”
  • Practice some techniques used in Tantra Sex
  • Learn about resources available for clinicians and clients
  • Discover new ideas for “thinking outside the box” from traditional Psychotherapy

Stephanie Falcón Banasau is owner of Therapist of Katy, PLLC.
